David Bradley is retiring on Friday after 29 years of service at IBM.
The man did a lot many things, but he will be most remembered for inventing "CTRL+ALT+DEL", also referred to as the three-finger salute.
Yes, he is the man who wrote the small segment of code, which for the last quarter of a century has been forcing obstinate computers to restart when they no longer follow other commands.
This is what he had to say about his relationship with Bill Gates,
"I may have invented it, but Bill made it famous by applying my formula when ever any Microsoft's Windows operating system made by him CRASHES. Thus I win when ever he looses".
